Character: Harp is practically bombproof. I’ve only seen him startle ONCE in his 11 months, when a couple of books flew off a high bookshelf as he was
passing by. Otherwise, he takes loud noises, new sights / sounds / surfaces, even snarling dogs in his stride. I foster and board dogs in my home, so he meets new dogs of all shapes and sizes every day and he has charmed every one of them into being his friend. In agility, he learns quickly and never acted shy or fearful of any obstacle. He is not the automatic high-drive dog I was hoping/expecting. However, I’m coming to wonder / hope if that isn’t a good thing in the long run. I recently found that I can “wind him up” with a squeaky toy, so maybe that’s the route to the excitement I’m looking for.

Character: If I were to pick one word to describe Fusion, it would be intense. He intensely loves his person and every stranger is a long lost friend he has yet to meet. His intensity in play is thrilling and occasionally bruising. If you like to put training toys in a safe place, the top shelf in the garage is not that place. In training, he has an intense desire to please even without a visible reward.  Silence is not a virtue in his book, but an energetic petting is. His holy grail is the tennis ball. He prefers to do everything at maximum speed, however bedtime is a sacred ritual.

Character: Rush is everything you’d look for in a working dog in a pretty package. But don’t let her looks fool you, she has just as much brains to go with her beauty. She attended her first agility seminar at 14.5 weeks old and hasn’t looked back since. She is usually the youngest pup in classes and seminars but can always keep up with the big dogs.

Character:  At ten months, Takin’ is 22 5/8″ and 46.5 lbs. At indoor shows with agility, basketball, rock climbing, etc. she takes it all in stride. I would have to say that she may come up with stress, offering to do tricks faster than usual when she is in such environments. She is able to play around the rings and focus on me, which is so nice since Vida just goes crazy anywhere near the rings. She tends to think before she acts. But she is very pushy and a suck up. Melts when you pet her, loves to be hugged. She adores her “people” and everyone else is tolerated especially if they have food. Her tail is always moving and when she is excited it moves like a propeller. We love her to bits.
